The Fazer series is one of the most popular for its sporty looks and high performance. The bike has got a tagline of open the heart to the touring spirit that it defines its comfort and touring experience. The Yamaha version two serves as a half-faired version of the fz-s version two. However the motorcycle retains its core fazer with its sports touring and stunning looks. Apart from that, it has got new remarkable updates like new graphics, dual headlights, and fairing mounted rear view mirrors, a split seat, rear license plate enclosure, tire hugger, and a new silencer canister. It concept gives it an excellent ergonomics and the motorcycle uses a lightweight diamond frame for a sharper and power packed performance on the road. It has a ground clearance of one sixty millimeter and an extended wheelbase of thousand three hundred and thirty millimeter for the better stability. The bike overall performance looks more modern and appealing.

The motorcycle employs fuel injected systems with the Japanese company’s consume blue core technology. An aerodynamic shield to combat wind blasts, middle set foot-pegs, low weight and wide positioned handlebars provides good functionality for long-distance touring. Its sporty looks should appeal well to the young Indian audience. The motorcycle features a fully digital instrument console which comprises a speedometer, tachometer, trip meter and a fuel gauge. At the heart of the new Yamaha fazer fi version two is a one forty- nine cc, blue core,  four stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SOHC, fuel-injected engine that generates a maximum power of 12.9 bhp made at eight thousand rotation per minute with utmost torque value of 12.8 nm made at six thousand rotation per minute. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a constant wet multi-plate clutch system. The bike provides good pick up and acceleration especially on highways thanks to the inclusion of a fuel injected system. Its speed gearbox delivers power to the rear wheel. The Yamaha fazer fi features a telescopic suspension unit and mono-shock on the front and rear ends respectively. A disc at the front and a drum at the rear take care of the braking duties.

The bike offers an extremely good mileage of forty-five to fifty kilometers on the highway that reduces to thirty-five to forty kilometers on the city roads. The bike can reach a top speed of one eighteen kilometers. The Yamaha fazer version two fi comes fitted with two sixty seven millimeter hydraulic disc brake at its front. While the one thirty millimeter drums brakes are placed at its rear end. The suspension system is very better for the telescopic suspensions at the front side and mono-shock at the back. The motorcycle is available in three attractive color options that are black hawk, red dawn and white cloud.  More seat space provides a more comfortable riding experience. The seat is long, comfortable and specially designed for the rider. The easy to grasp aluminium handle grab bars give the rider extra support during long rides.
